Founded in 1990, this chapter of Sweet Adelines International has entertained audiences with its special brand of four-part harmony throughout the Northwest Indiana region. We compete annually in Midwest Harmony's Region 3 Sweet Adeline Competition. In 2015, we won the Most Improved Chorus award as well as 3rd Place Small Chorus. We worked hard to improve our score, and in May 2016 we won Most Improved Chorus again, and we won 1st Place Small Chorus for the first time, as well as 5th Place Overall! In 2019 we again won 1st place Small Chorus, and 3rd Place Overall! After the pandemic, we returned to the competition stage in 2022 to earn our highest score ever, 4th place overall, and 1st Place Small Chorus. Since that time, our chorus has grown in size, and we now compete in the midsize chorus category. We are so proud to say that in 2023, we won 4th place overall, 2nd Place Midsize Chorus—all with our highest score ever, making our wonderful director an official Master Director!
In 2024, we were thrilled to break our best score record yet again, win 2nd place overall, and 1st Place Midsize Chorus, earning an invitation to SAI's international competition for the first time in our chapter's history! We are so excited to perform as a Wild Card next year in Columbus, Ohio.
We strive to do our best to represent the Sweet Adelines International organization by continually improving our musical and performance excellence, while maintaining an atmosphere of sisterhood, friendship and fun in all that we do.
